Distribution
At the service of end line customer
With the opening of the natural gas market, regulations provide for the separation of the activities of distribution and marketing of natural gas. Twenty three transport network operators transfer the gas over local or regional networks, at low or medium pressure, up to delivery stations on behalf of eligible customers and their suppliers. They are responsible for exploiting their network and improve its access by connecting the new installations of customers to their distribution network. Distributors also offer end line customers services connected to gas delivery such as supply of delivery station [expansion and counting equipment], its exploitation and maintenance. Over 11.3 million customers are connected to distribution networks.
